It's Great!  Now Let's Make It Better!

Here's a crew who turned out to make the trails perfect for the 2018 Winter Season

And a special "thanks" to Curran Logging for providing the chips to spread on the trails.

And, here's the 2018 Nordic Athletics Team, who, along with Clarkson College, train in the Park and participate in the I Love My Park Days.  Thanks for all the Heavy Lifting, people!

October 2018 - Getting The Trails Ready

Yes, they always seem to fall across a trail!

Another job done and ready for the Clean-Up.

The Townsend family: Getting the trails done just in time.  Mother Nature's getting ready!!!

But, the Townsend family didn't do ALL the work.  60 Volunteers showed up

Nice to get indoors for some chow and some warmth!

Thank you to the 60 volunteers who came out in the worst weather we have ever had for a Trails Day to put the trails in good shape for the coming winter. We anticipated a low turnout but, boy, were we wrong! Both the SLU and Clarkson Teams were there in force as well as many other volunteers ranging in age from under 5 to over 75. A huge amount of work was completed, membership banners and the new solar test lights were installed for evaluation. It was a great day with snow falling heavily when we finished.   -  Friends of HFSP Board
