Each year, the Friends of Higley Flow State Park organize a  bike tour with several distances up to 100 miles.

Higley 100 (2015) draws crowd in Colton

A rainy Saturday failed to dampen the spirits of over 40 riders who participated in this year’s Higley 100 bike tour. Route designer David Tritart altered the course to allow cyclists to complete one or two of the 31-mile and 62-mile loops. Several chose the longer option despite the rain, which was heavy at times. Sixty-five cyclists enjoyed the various courses of the Higley 100 bike tour on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010.  Riders enjoyed perfect conditions for the ride options which included 20, 50 and 100 mile rides. The course, designed by David Trithart, took riders north through Norfolk and Madrid then south up to Degrasse before returning to Higley Flow State Park beach for a post-ride barbecue.
